Please Join Premier John Horgan and BC's new cabinet shortly after Tuesday's swearing-in ceremony. Mix and mingle with MLAs and explore your Legislature.

Premier Horgan will be speaking shortly after 5:00 pm in the Hall of Honour.

Come check out parts of the Legislature that aren't normally open to the public. You won't have to go through the normal security check, you'll be able to just come on in.

Dr. Rob Gillezeau, assistant professor of economics at the University of Victoria, and former chief economist to the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ottawa. Dr. Gillezeau's research interests include Economic History, Labour Economics and Public Policy.

Public Meeting on Housing Affordability and Tenancy Laws

Carole has heard from hundreds of constituents over the last few months concerned about affordability and the availability of housing in our community. It continues to be one of the top affordability worries in Victoria, for families, seniors, individuals, and the homeless.

The issue of “renovictions” – a tactic used by some landlords to evict renters under the pretense of renovating so that they can increase the rent, is just the most recent example.

MLA Open House at James Bay New Horizons

Come drop by the James Bay New Horizons (234 Menzies Street) from 4-6pm on Tuesday, September 4th, and meet Carole James, MLA for Victoria-Beacon Hill.
